I experienced sometimes bad prints, especially when the print speed was high. (see image above). Finally I figured out that had two reasons:
- The current for the extruder motors was too low (see: motor currents )
- The transport slipped across the filament – means the spring pressure to press the filament against the transport wheel was too weak. This problem I solved by adding some extra springs to increase the pressure:
